Restricted Items — What Can’t Go in Your Dumpster

For the safety of our team and to comply with disposal regulations, the following items are not accepted in our dumpsters.

Not Accepted

Paints, stains, varnishes, and paint thinners
Chemicals of any kind, including: pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, pool chemicals, solvents, acids, bleach, automotive fluids, antifreeze, brake fluid, fuel (gasoline, diesel, kerosene)
Fluorescent light bulbs and tubes
Motor oil, cooking oil, and other oils
Ammunition or explosives
Garden chemicals
Propane tanks
Batteries (automotive, lithium-ion, and rechargeable)
Tires
Asbestos-containing materials
Medical waste or biohazardous materials

Appliances Containing Freon

Any appliance containing Freon (refrigerant) is accepted for an additional disposal fee. This includes: refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners (window or central units), water coolers, dehumidifiers, ice makers, beverage coolers, wine coolers.
